I'm It!!

I've been tagged. Thanks Jade!
Hhmm, random things about me huh? She did 10, I thought it was 7, but I guess I'll do 10 too!!

1. I LOVE to decorate. I could easily re-do a room in our house every month. Our budget doesn't allow this however. One of my many dreams would be to buy an extremely old house, gut it, and rennovate the whole thing. Maybe one day!
2. I love to cook, but can't bake worth a flip. I enjoy cooking and cook almost every night for our family. I can hold my own with almost any main dish recipe; and even though I can eat dessert with the best of 'em, I can't bake worth a flip. Everything turns out flat, too gooey or overdone. I got one of those big kitchen aid mixer things for a wedding gift 5 1/2 yrs. ago and it has never come out of the box.
3. I hate excercising. It has taken me many yrs. to come out and say it, but now I don't care. I really do hate it. I mean, I'll do it, because I know it's good for you, blah blah blah... But the whole time I'm thinking "ugh, how much longer?" This is extremely frustrating to Frank b/c he enjoys it, we own a treadmill, and I acknowledge the fact that excercise is neccesary. I still hate it.
4. One of my worst fears in the world, roaches. I can hardly type the word. They are the devil bug. What is their purpose? Someone please let me know. I all but have an anxiety attack if one is near me. Don't even get me started on the flying ones. I could easily pick up a snake before I ever can walk up to a roach and step on it. Last yr. there was a HUGE one in our hallway, after many screams, phone call to my neighbor who wasn't home to come kill it, and phone calls to Frank, I decided that maybe I could throw a really big book on it and kill it. Allie was completely wigging out b/c I was. Finally I got the biggest book we own and SMACK. I killed my 1st roach ever. It was traumatizing. No gratification whatsoever. I still am deathly afraid of them. When frank got home Allie ran to the door and said, "daddy, there is a bug under a book taking a nap". Poor child.
5. I've always had the deep desire to be a backup dancer. Strange, I know. But how awsome to just get paid just for dancing. Especially if you worked for someone really famous. You could travel all over and just dance. No one is really looking at you, you don't have to sing. Just dance!
6. I get very grossed out by long toenails. Seriously, just cut them.
7. I'm obsessed with pajama pants. I could put them on as early as 3-4 o'clock if Frank wouldn't make fun of me. They recharge me for several hours. Allie calls them comfy clothes.
8. I'm obsessed with calf muscles. Strange I know. It's because I have none and hate my legs. I've tried to make them big, done calf raises etc... they just don't show up on my legs. If you have shorts on, I'm going to check out your calves. It is not a lustful thing, more like an envy thing. Sorry, but it's true.
9. It grosses me out to hear people sniff, breath loud, etc... I have to leave the room so I won't gag. Just go blow your nose people!! This has not gone away since I married a snorer. Just many nights of "frank, roll over, you're snoring."
10. I love to write. I would love to write a book one day!

There you go!
So, now I tag Marty. Because I know hers will be hilarious! And I tag my high school friends; Catherine, Rachel and Ashleigh!!

Ginger! I laughed until I cried at the roach comment. I promise you, I feel the same way. They are my biggest fear.

Ginger,
Thanks for tagging me!!! You know I love that kinda stuff!!!!! Anyway, do you remember in college when you saw a roach in our apartment and you had to call Brian to come kill it. I do not think I was even home! And also, I had no idea that you wanted to be a backup singer.

Yay Ginger! You get an A +! I am right there with you about the calf muscles- I can remember having friends that were college cheerleaders and their calves looked great, so I tried to do the same 'workout'...needless to say, it did NOT work. I have toothpick legs!
