I have a new project. I have decided that there is too much wasted space in my closet and that it is time to organize all my shoes. I now am determined to find shoe boxes for all of them, take pictures for the outside of the box, and VOILA! Only one problem.... NO SHOE BOXES. Who would have ever thought shoe boxes would be hard to find. I need quite a few so I don't want to spend $3.00 per box on nice plastic ones. Just some plain old shoe boxes. I have scowered (sp?) the internet and the only ones I found for $1.00 per box were in the UK and the shipping amount would defeat the whole thing. Anyone know where to find some?
Also.... I can't believe that only one person has replied with a camera they like??? Come one people.... share the knowledge!!!!

This shoe box project has disaster written all over it.
I have a sony cybershot. I don't love it so I wouldn't get it. It may just be too advanced for me and I can't figure out how to work all of the gadgets on it.
i really do like my canon powershot.....it is easy to use...and i think it takes great pictures...i have the S5IS
I have a Canon Powershot SD1000 that I got last year and I love it. It has lots of neat functions including one called "kids and pets" that speeds up the shuttertime. It also has settings for indoor, beach, snow, etc.
I have a canon digital rebel, which I love, but it's bulky. I want one of those canon powershots. I used my mom's at the beach and I love that it would fit in my purse and does video. If you want to borrow my digital rebel, you are welcome to try it out for a couple of days, ginger. It would probably do even more if i knew how it worked. HA.
hi ginger! I am cracking up at the shoe project. Sounds like something I would attempt but then all of the shoes would end up on the floor. I did see plastic bins at bedBathandBeyond the other day...15 for $10 I think. As for the camera...I have an SLR Camera (digital rebel) and a little powershot. The powershot is slow. The shutter speed is just painful. But I am in love with the rebel. Awesome pics..a little bulky but worth it.
