Mary Mary Quite Contrary....

hhhmmmm, not so much for our little Mary Elliott; but we'll definitely keep her!
she is into EVERYTHING she can get her hands on, climb up too, crawl into, etc... these days! I find myself saying that she's 'bad'. my dear friend Sarah quickly reminds me however, that she isn't really 'bad'; its just that Allie was an extremely content toddler. mary elliott likes exploring to put it nicely. it really amazes me that they come from the same parents!

she found my headband and wore it all morning.

actually caught a sweet moment before church.

this is her new favorite pastime; going into the girls bathroom, climbing on their stool and finding any toothbrush and sucking on it. then she gets anything that is in her reach and throws it on the floor. when she has conquered the counter and all it's belongings she stands on the stool and screams at the top of her lungs until you come get her.

but when you actually get her down, she throws quite a fit. yes i took a picture, there is no consoling her temper tantrums!

when she gets over the bathroom fit, its onto the dishwasher. she knows how to open it and just puts herself right up in it!

Allie, in case you're reading this is 20 years.... i'm sorry i didn't appreciate how compliant you were at this age!

however, just when you think you've reached your limit, she will redeem herself and fall asleep in her high chair!
Love you sweet girl:)

Mary Elliott and Claire are so much alike! Claire does all of those things as well and is so busy!

I feel like you are talking about my little Anne Reece. She is doing all of the above...except she is not walking. The dishwasher and refrig are her absolute favorites!!! I love me some Mary Elliott. She and Anne Reece could get into some major trouble together!!!

Jack wanted to see pics of Allie. He loved that Mary Elliott was in the dishwasher...he said she playing in the dishwasher and then went to sleep in her highchair. I think he thinks she is a cutie!!!

I agree with the other posts...you could so easily be talking about Macy!!! Maybe it is a second child thing...Macy fell off the kitchen table today...did she cry...like one second and was right back up there!!! Drew would still be crying! Ha.

Love that you posted a fit picture. I've been thinking that for our blog to show real life, I need to take and post a fit picture. It happens. Otherwise, my blog becomes one of those cheesy Christmas letters that only talk about all the good things that have happened in the last year and leave out all the difficulties.
